SKIKK Thor 16 Ryzen 9 RTX 5090

Workstation power in a 16 inch chassis

The Thor 16 runs on an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D with 16 cores, a boost clock of up to 5.4GHz and no less than 128MB of cache. It's paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 with 24GB GDDR7 and a total TGP of 175W. It doesn't get any more powerful in a laptop. In practice, that means running a large Revit model while Teams, Outlook, your ERP software and a few VMs keep running smoothly in the background. No waiting for a loading spinner.

Looking for a workstation laptop for engineering, design or data analysis? This is the machine that can replace your desktop PC, and then go with you to client meetings.

Built for business: CAD, 3D, AI and local LLMs

Those 24GB of video memory make all the difference. Run local LLMs and AI models entirely on your own laptop, so sensitive company data never has to touch the cloud. For CAD, 3D rendering in Blender or V-Ray and video editing in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro, this is a business laptop with RTX that seriously picks up the pace. Export that 4K video for your client during your lunch break, not after hours.

• Drive up to 4 displays via HDMI 2.1, Mini DisplayPort 2.1a (UHBR20, 80Gbps) and USB-C with DisplayPort
• 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet for fast file transfers at the office
• Windows Hello with IR+FHD webcam: log in with your face
• TPM 2.0 and a Kensington lock for extra security in the workplace
• Full-size SD card reader (SD 7.0) for photographers and videographers

A Mini-LED display you can work on all day

The 16 inch Mini-LED display reaches 1250 nits and covers 100% DCI-P3, making color-critical work for photography, video or print far more enjoyable. The 2560x1600 resolution in a 16:10 aspect ratio gives you extra vertical space for spreadsheets, code and timelines. The matte coating eliminates reflections under office lighting, and the 300Hz refresh rate makes scrolling and navigating 3D viewports wonderfully smooth.

Configurable and ready for the future

As standard, you get 32GB DDR5 at 5600MHz and a 1TB NVMe SSD. Working with large datasets or lots of VMs? The two SO-DIMM slots let you expand to 128GB of memory. There are two M.2 slots, one of which supports PCIe 5.0, so you can choose blazing-fast storage with a Samsung 9100 PRO of up to 8TB per slot. Add Windows 11 Pro, Office and Bitdefender directly when you order. Where other brands often lock you into a fixed configuration, here you build everything exactly the way you want.

Running long renders? With the optional SKIKK Kyla liquid cooling, you can connect extra cooling capacity via the liquid cooling connector for maximum performance during hours-long workloads. The 99Wh battery is replaceable, and charging via USB-C (140W) is also supported.

Great for gaming, too

After hours, this laptop shows its other side. The RTX 5090 with ray tracing and the 3D V-Cache of the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D make a top-tier combination for the latest games at high settings, while the 300Hz display with FreeSync keeps everything razor-sharp and fluid. The keyboard with per-key RGB, N-key rollover and a numeric keypad is just as comfortable for Excel as it is for an evening of gaming.

Who is the Thor 16 for?

This is a laptop for professionals who refuse to compromise: engineers and designers working with CAD and 3D, video creators editing 4K and 8K footage, and developers training or running AI models locally. It's also a strong choice for freelancers who want one machine for the office, client visits and home. You get a workstation custom-built for you by SKIKK in the Netherlands, with warranty and service from Kampen.
