SKIKK Thor 16 Ultra RTX 5070 Ti

Intel Ultra 7 270HX Plus: 20 cores that truly deliver

The Thor 16 runs on the Intel Ultra 7 270HX Plus with 20 cores and a boost up to 5.1GHz. In practice? Rendering a complete 3D scene in Blender while Teams, Outlook, a Chrome session with 40 tabs and your ERP suite keep running smoothly. For professionals in CAD, engineering and 3D design this means: less waiting, more doing. A SolidWorks assembly with hundreds of parts runs fluidly, and that 4K timeline in Premiere Pro scrubs through your edit without a hitch.

It ships standard with 32GB DDR5-5600 RAM, and you can expand up to 96GB. That matters for anyone working with heavy datasets, virtual machines or large 3D models. A workstation laptop that grows with your projects, not one you'll be replacing in two years.

RTX 5070 Ti: for CAD, 3D, AI and video rendering

The NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti with 12GB GDDR7 and 5888 CUDA cores is the workhorse of this laptop. From a business perspective, this is where the difference lies: viewport renders in Autodesk Revit, SolidWorks or Fusion 360 run smoothly, and in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro the GPU significantly accelerates your exports. Working with AI models or running local LLMs? The 12GB VRAM gives you room to run models that simply won't fit on smaller cards.

With a total GPU power of 140W (115W TGP + 25W Dynamic Boost) you really get everything out of it. Ray tracing in architectural visualisations, GPU rendering in V-Ray or Octane, machine learning tasks — all within reach. And yes, after work hours this laptop is also perfectly suited for high-level gaming.

16 inch Mini LED at 300Hz: colour-accurate work

The 16 inch Quad HD+ display (2560x1600) is a Mini LED panel with 500 nits brightness, 100% DCI-P3 and 89% Adobe RGB. For video editors, photographers and 3D designers that means: colours you can trust, without constantly needing an external monitor. The matte coating keeps reflections at bay under bright office lighting or at a desk by the window.

The 300Hz refresh rate is mainly a bonus for gaming, but in professional use you'll notice how crisp scrolling, dragging and viewport navigation feel. The 16:10 ratio also gives you more vertical space — great for code, documents, timelines and CAD drawings.

Connectivity for the serious workspace

The Thor 16 is equipped for a true desktop-replacement workspace. You can drive up to 4 displays through the combination of HDMI 2.1, Mini DisplayPort 2.1 and USB-C with DisplayPort. A presentation on a 4K display at a client site? Plug straight in. A workstation with two external monitors plus your laptop? No problem.

• 3x USB-A 3.2 Gen1 for mouse, keyboard and external storage
• 2x USB-C 3.2 Gen2 (10Gbps), one with Power Delivery 100W
• HDMI 2.1 and Mini DisplayPort 2.1 for external displays
• 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet for a stable wired connection
• SD card reader (SD 7.0, up to 985MB/s) — handy for photographers and videographers
• Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 for fast wireless connections

For security there's a TPM 2.0 via Intel PTT, plus Windows Hello via the IR camera for quick and secure sign-in. The webcam has a privacy shutter — great for video calls and for those who are mindful about data. There's also a Kensington Lock slot, for when the laptop stays behind at a shared workspace.

1TB NVMe PCIe 5.0 storage and Windows 11

Supplied standard with a 1TB NVMe SSD on PCIe 5.0, with room for a second M.2 SSD alongside it. Projects open fast, Windows boots in seconds and you copy large files without wasting time. Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed with English language support. Working in a corporate environment with domain management? Then you can opt for Windows 11 Pro during configuration.

Who is the Thor 16 Ultra 7 RTX 5070 Ti for?

This is a workstation laptop for professionals who really have work to do: engineers working with CAD and 3D, video editors processing 4K and 8K material, photographers who need colour-accurate retouching, developers experimenting locally with AI models, and architects creating visualisations. For students in technical and creative programmes this is also a laptop that will see you through your entire studies.

The chassis is aluminium, and at 2.5 kg it's reasonably mobile for a system with these specs. Delivered with 2 years warranty and service from the Netherlands — for questions or issues there's a team in Kampen ready to help. Configure the Thor 16 entirely to your own requirements: more RAM, extra SSD, different keyboard. That way you get exactly what you need, not what the manufacturer happened to have in stock.
