SKIKK Vanaheim 16 - RTX 5060

16 cores and an RTX 5060 in your work laptop

The SKIKK Vanaheim 16 runs on an Intel Core i7-14650HX with 16 cores and a boost of up to 5.2GHz. In practice, that means Teams, Excel, your ERP software and Chrome with thirty tabs all open at once, without a hint of lag. On top of that, it packs an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 with 8GB GDDR7. That makes this laptop much more than an office machine: it's a business laptop with RTX that can also handle demanding design and compute work.

As with every SKIKK, you configure it yourself. We build it to order in Kampen, and we handle warranty and service from the Netherlands as well.

Business use: a workstation you take with you

At the office, you connect the Vanaheim 16 to a complete workstation setup. With HDMI 2.1, Mini DisplayPort 2.1a and two DisplayPort outputs via USB-C, you can drive multiple external monitors. Add a SKIKK USB-C docking station and a single cable connects your monitors, peripherals and network. The laptop also charges via USB-C with 100W Power Delivery, so you can use one dock both at home and at the office.

That's ideal for hybrid working: the morning stand-up from home, the afternoon at the office with two external monitors and a stable connection via Gigabit Ethernet. On the go you have Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4, and if you want even faster wireless, simply choose Wi-Fi 7 when you order.

Signing in is fast and secure with the IR+FHD webcam with Windows Hello: just look at the camera and you're in. The Full HD camera and array microphone also make sure you look professional and sound clear on video calls. A Kensington Lock keeps the laptop in place at hot desks or trade shows. If you work with domain management or BitLocker, choose Windows 11 Pro when configuring.

A display you'll enjoy working on all day

The 16-inch IPS display has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 in a 16:10 aspect ratio. You see more rows in a spreadsheet and can easily place two documents side by side. The matte coating blocks reflections from fluorescent lighting and windows, and with 300 nits and a 1200:1 contrast ratio, the image is bright and sharp.

With 99% sRGB, colours are accurate for web design, photo editing and presentations. The 180Hz refresh rate makes scrolling through long documents and timelines silky smooth. The full-size keyboard with numeric keypad is a blessing for anyone who works with numbers a lot, and the quiet chiclet keys won't disturb your colleagues.

A laptop for CAD, 3D, video editing and AI

The RTX 5060 does what it does best: rendering, accelerating and computing. Models in AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Blender run smoothly, and in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro you can export that 4K video for your client during your break, not after hours. For local AI models and LLMs with CUDA acceleration, an RTX GPU with 8GB GDDR7 is also a major step up from a standard work laptop.

For students in engineering, architecture or media design, this is a laptop that will last your entire degree, with plenty of power for heavy project files.

Upgradeable and future-proof

Where other brands often leave you stuck with soldered memory, the Vanaheim 16 has two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots and supports up to 128GB of RAM. It comes standard with 16GB DDR5 5600MHz and a 1TB NVMe SSD. If you work with virtual machines or large datasets, choose 32GB, 64GB or more when you order.

There are two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, so you can expand storage up to 16TB with Samsung 9100 PRO SSDs. The 80Wh battery is replaceable too. That keeps this laptop useful for years to come.

Great for gaming, too

After hours, the combination of an i7-14650HX, the RTX 5060 with DLSS and a 180Hz display shows what it's capable of. Recent games run smoothly at QHD+ resolution, and thanks to the 15-colour RGB keyboard backlighting, your setup looks great as well.

Who is the Vanaheim 16 for?

This is a truly great workstation laptop for engineers, designers, video editors and freelancers looking for a laptop for CAD and 3D that also works as a fully-fledged office laptop. Businesses that want to equip a team with powerful, configurable systems are in the right place too. You get warranty and service from the Netherlands, directly from the builder.
