SKIKK Idavoll III

SKIKK Idavoll III: 17 inch work laptop with Intel Core Ultra 7

The Idavoll III runs on an Intel Core Ultra 7 155U with 14 cores and an 11 TOPS NPU. In practice that means: Outlook, Teams, Excel with heavy pivot tables, a VPN to the office and thirty Chrome tabs can all be open at the same time without your laptop breaking a sweat. The NPU takes over AI tasks — think Windows Studio Effects during video calls, background noise filtering or local Copilot features — so the rest of the processor stays free for your real work.

On top of that you get 16GB DDR5 at 5600MHz and a 1TB NVMe SSD via PCIe Gen 4. That is a solid foundation for daily office work, and if your team does heavier work you can easily scale up to 128GB of memory and up to 8TB SSD.

17 inch workspace without compromising on sharpness

The 17.3 inch matte Full HD IPS panel gives you plenty of workspace. Two Word documents side by side, a spreadsheet plus browser, or your planning open next to your inbox — it all fits. The matte coating blocks reflections from fluorescent lighting and windows, so you can keep working comfortably at the office and at a client's location. With 300 nits brightness, 100% sRGB and 74% DCI-P3, colours are accurate enough for presentations, quotations and light image editing.

Because the screen is matte and the viewing angles reach 89 degrees all round, you can easily have a colleague look along without colours shifting. Handy when reviewing a proposal together or presenting a dashboard.

Made for hybrid working

The Idavoll III weighs 2.1 kg and is 18 mm thin — pretty impressive for a 17 inch. You take it with you from home office to head office, to a client meeting and back. Charging goes via USB-C, so one cable for power and docking station. At the office you connect it via the SKIKK USB-C docking station to two external monitors, keyboard and mouse — ready in one second.

Connectivity is well sorted: 2x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, 3x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, HDMI 2.1, 2x DisplayPort 1.4 via USB-C, Gigabit Ethernet, a Micro SD card reader and a combined audio jack. You can drive up to four displays at the same time. Wirelessly you go with Wi-Fi 6E (Intel AX211) and Bluetooth 5.4 — and anyone who wants to future-proof their office can upgrade to Wi-Fi 7.

Security and reliability for business use

For companies and freelancers working with sensitive data there is TPM 2.0, a Kensington Lock and a 5MP FHD webcam with Windows Hello. Logging in is done via facial recognition in less than a second. By default the laptop comes with Windows 11 Home, but during configuration you can easily choose Windows 11 Pro — so you have BitLocker drive encryption, Remote Desktop and domain integration that you want in a business environment. Combine that with Bitdefender as an extra security layer and you are well covered.

The array microphone ensures your voice comes across clearly in Teams or Zoom, even from a noisy co-working cafe. The cooling keeps the noise level under full load at 40.5 dB — noticeably present, but fine in an open-plan office. At idle you sit at 32.4 dB, so practically inaudible.

Content creation and study

The integrated Intel Arc 8-Core GPU is stronger than the standard iGPUs from a few generations ago. Photo editing in Lightroom, 1080p video editing in Premiere or DaVinci Resolve, light 3D rendering or CAD sketch work: it all runs fine. For students this is a great machine to work with for four years — from lecture notes to graduation project.

Fully configurable and built in the Netherlands

Every Idavoll III is assembled in Kampen according to your specifications. By default you get 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD, but memory can be expanded to 128GB (2x SODIMM DDR5) and storage up to 8TB Samsung 9100 PRO. Keyboard layout (QWERTY NL, German, French, Belgian AZERTY and more), operating system, Office suite, antivirus and power cable are all up to you. That way you order exactly what you need — nothing more, nothing less.

You get a 2 year warranty and service from the Netherlands. That saves hassle if anything ever happens: you call Kampen, not a call centre abroad.
