The Forseti 14 weighs 1.3 kg and is 16.3 mm thin. For students commuting between lectures, the library and home, that really makes a difference. Intel Core i5-1335U with 10 cores

Under the hood sits an Intel Core i5-1335U with 10 cores that boost up to 4.6GHz. In practice this means: Teams meetings, Excel sheets with formulas and Chrome with 25 tabs open at once, without the fan screaming. The 12MB cache memory helps you switch quickly between applications. For studying, office work, online lectures and even light photo editing in Lightroom, this processor is more than enough.

32GB RAM and 1TB SSD

With 32GB DDR4-3200MHz memory you have plenty of room for multitasking. Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Spotify and your browser can all be open simultaneously without slowdowns. The 1TB SSD makes sure you have space for all your study files, presentations, photos and programs. Boot time is around 8 seconds and files open instantly.

The memory is expandable up to 64GB via two DDR4 SODIMM slots. Handy if in a few years you think: I want to keep using it a bit longer. The M.2 2280 SSD slot supports PCIe Gen 4, so upgrades to faster storage are also possible.

14-inch IPS display with Full HD+ resolution

The 14-inch IPS display has a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. That extra vertical space (1200 instead of 1080) really helps when reading documents and websites — you see more text without scrolling. The matte coating prevents annoying reflections from windows or fluorescent lights in lecture halls. With 250 nits brightness and a 1200:1 contrast ratio, you get a clear image while working.

Ports, connectivity and extras

The ports are well covered: 2x USB-C (Gen1), 2x USB 3.2 Gen1, 1x USB 2.0 and HDMI. Via a SKIKK USB-C docking station you can connect multiple external displays — up to three displays in total. The built-in fingerprint sensor logs you in lightning fast, and the Micro SD card reader is great if you often work with photos or camera footage.
