Under the hood sits an Intel Core i5-1335U with 10 cores that boost up to 4.6GHz. In practice that means: Teams meetings, Excel sheets full of formulas and Chrome with 25 tabs open at once, without the fan spinning up. The 12MB cache helps with quickly switching between programs. For study, office work, online lectures and even light photo editing in Lightroom, this processor is more than enough.

32GB RAM and 1TB SSD

With 32GB DDR4-3200MHz of memory you have plenty of room for multitasking. Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Spotify and your browser can all be open at the same time without slowdowns. The 1TB SSD gives you space for all your study files, presentations, photos and programs. Boot times are around 8 seconds and files open instantly.

Memory is upgradeable to 64GB through two DDR4 SODIMM slots. Handy if a few years down the line you decide you want to keep using it for longer. The M.2 2280 SSD slot supports PCIe Gen 4, so upgrades to faster storage are possible too.

14-inch IPS display with Full HD+ resolution

The 14-inch IPS display has a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. That extra vertical space (1200 instead of 1080) really helps when reading documents and websites — you see more text without scrolling. The matte coating prevents annoying reflections from windows or fluorescent lights in lecture halls. With 250 nits of brightness and a 1200:1 contrast ratio, you get a clear image throughout your workday.

Ports, connectivity and extras

Connectivity is well covered: 2x USB-C (Gen1), 2x USB 3.2 Gen1, 1x USB 2.0 and HDMI. Through a SKIKK USB-C docking station you can connect multiple external displays — up to three in total. The built-in fingerprint sensor logs you in instantly, and the Micro SD card reader is great if you often work with photos or camera footage.
