The ICY BOX IB-DK7401-CU31 is a 17-in-1 docking station that connects your entire workstation to your laptop through a single USB-C cable. Six video ports, fast USB, 2.5Gbps ethernet, an SD/MicroSD 4.0 card reader and up to 140 watts of charging power for your laptop. Drive up to six monitors simultaneously

The dock features 2x HDMI (up to 4K@60Hz) and 2x DisplayPort (up to 8K@60Hz). In total, you can connect six external displays through the combination of video outputs and USB-C display ports. For traders, video editors or developers working with multiple IDE windows, terminals and dashboards at the same time, that's gold. Going for a dual-display setup? Then you can even push 8K resolution over DisplayPort, which is especially interesting for color grading, photo editing and CAD work where you want to see every detail.

Where you'll notice the difference: no tearing when dragging windows between screens, and 60Hz at 4K means your mouse moves smoothly instead of the choppy 30Hz you still often see with cheaper docks.

USB and data transfer at full speed

Onboard you'll find 4x USB-C (Gen2, 10Gbps) and 4x USB-A (Gen2, 10Gbps). Eight ports at 10Gbit/s, letting you connect an external NVMe SSD, backup drive, webcam, microphone, stream deck and keyboard all at once without bandwidth issues. You can push data to a 1TB external SSD at a real-world 1000MB/s.

The SD and MicroSD card reader supports the SD 4.0 standard. For photographers and videographers, that means: loading RAW files and 4K footage is noticeably faster than with the SD 3.0 readers still found in most docks.

140W charging power for demanding laptops

With USB Power Delivery 3.1 up to 140 watts, this dock also charges workstation laptops and gaming laptops that normally require their own 180W+ power brick.
