The Samsung 870 EVO features Samsung's latest V-NAND and controller, allowing it to achieve maximum SATA sequential read and write speeds of 560 and 530MB/s respectively. Peak loads are no problem at all with the Intelligent TurboWrite technology, which uses a large variable SLC buffer. With an almost 38% improvement in random read speed over the previous 860 model, the user experience is sublime. From multitasking, browsing to starting PCs, everything runs smoothly.
To ensure that all components work together flawlessly, Samsung designs everything in-house. As a result, the 870 EVO offers approximately 30% higher sustained performance than the 860 EVO. The 4TB model is good for 2,400 terabytes written (TBW) or a five-year warranty.
The 870 EVO combines exceptional performance and reliability with great compatibility. The drive can be used in combination with all devices that have a 2.5 inch SATA interface connection. In the energy-saving sleep mode, the 870 EVO is also compatible with devices that support Windows' modern standby function, which is useful for PC users.
