In a press conference in Las Vegas ahead of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Nvidia unveiled some new gaming hardware that will delight fans for both desktop and on-the-go gaming.
Of course, these video cards offer a faster performance compared to the popular RTX 1000 series, but it is especially important that they support ray tracing. This new graphic technique provides very realistic lighting effects in real time. That said, games must have that option built in and there aren't that many right now. Well-known examples include Battlefield V and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Nvidia's mobile chipsets have been anticipated for quite some time, as we've been stuck with the company's GTX series GPU for a long time. The new mobile GPUs range from RTX 2080 to RTX 2060. Nvidia does not reveal any specs yet, but have announced that laptops with RTX GPUs are capable of running ray traced games such as Battlefield 5 at 1080p and 60 frames per second.
The Skikk 17TM75 is already available as a preorder and can be put together yourself, where the customer can choose from both the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060, RTX 2070 as well as the RTX 2080.
Skikk also announced that the Skikk 2019 Extreme, which will be announced soon, will at least get an RTX 2080 GPU, with which more than 60fps must be achieved in Battlefield V, with ray tracing enabled.
